Murders in Limpopo

More race baiting from the BBC. Why is this case in South Africa world news? More than 40000 murders every year in SA, also numerous white people getting killed by black South Africans because they are white. Majority black on black violence between different tribes. Then the BBC is silent. I've said it before and will do it again, the BBC is an anti white propaganda channel. Nothing newsworthy comes from those commies.

My condolences to the family of the victims but this no world news. Just furthering their narrative that white people are the root cause of all world problems.

From the article."Members of opposition party Economic Freedom Fighters, which has previously called for the farm to be shut down, were also present in the courtroom."

Opposition party. You know the openly communist party that is calling for a white genocide. When they regularly sing in the open "kill the boer".

Actually the BBC has covered many angles of the murder problem in South Africa in many articles. They have for decades.

I am just guessing you don't like their conclusions.

I don't give a damn about their conclusions. They are a one sided rag most of the time. But they are never objective. Something that especially a government funded "news" agency should be.

I do not know where you live in Canada but visit any of the big cities in Western Europe and the problem is crystal clear. But no mentioning of any of those problems by the BBC. They hate anything that build the West and what made us great. I utterly despise them and the ideologies that gives them energy.

If you think white farmers are the problem in South Africa I can say nothing to convince you otherwise. This article makes it a race issue to further their anti white agenda. My 2 cents.

I am not the only one with this view btw.

I have never suggested that the white farmers in S.A. are responsible for anything. Why you chose to suggest that says a lot more about you than it does me.

We are to believe the victims were trying to steal stale dairy product pig food, not one of the pigs? Yeah, sure. Not that I think pig stealing warrants murder. But from what I'm reading and hearing the police in South Africa are notoriously ineffective and corrupt. Not news on BBC though. Lawless environments spawn this stuff.

Maybe you need to read the article again, read between the lines. What it the inclusion of the last alinea for? Also what is the intention of this article and don't be naive. Come with arguments instead of personal attacks.

Also if you want to say something just say it. I can take a jab. You are implying you agree with their conclusions not me.

It seems SA government is doing so well after
Apartheid. Such a lovely gracious government now.

Here are the last two lines:

"Members of opposition party Economic Freedom Fighters, which has previously called for the farm to be shut down, were also present in the courtroom.

The trial was postponed to next week."

The article is almost entirely factual. They don't draw conclusions. You do a lot of "reading between the lines" to support what you believe is a leftist media bias, and I would hazard a guess a buy in to the "white farmer genocide" narrative.

Murders where the bodies get fed to pigs as part of the cover up are just considered news because of their obscene facts. We had a rather famous one here in Canada, nothing to do with South Africa on that one.

Mentioning the EFF party being there is pretty logical in context if the facts are true. If the EFF called for that farm to be shut down before the murders took place then they (and others) will make the argument that the deaths could have been prevented. It's like someone calling the local authorities about fire code violations and the building burning down before action is taken.

This got personal when you suggested I thought white farmers were the "problem" when I said no such thing. You were just looking for a quick and easy generalization. It was offensive to me. I grew up surrounded by South Africans and Rhodesians, have worked closely with dozens of them over the years and currently employ several FOB South Africans. I adore working with them, they are great people of great character. And, as an aside, I can tell you Canadian juries love their accents (both English and Africaans).

Actually the BBC has covered South African corruption, police and otherwise, many times. For instance:

Just google "BBC south african police corruption" and read the articles.

I’m just glad that I don’t have to live in RSA as a white man , or Canada as a conservative minded person.
Viva! United States of America

@RLD good for you that you still trust them and see nothing wrong with their reporting. Everyone is different I guess.

They mentioning the race of perpetrators, something the BBC almost never does. Only when it suits them . (Didn't say a word about the grooming gangs for almost a decade. Still calling them Asians). They mention the EFF without giving context what they are and say the farmland is predominantly in white hands. This is setting the stage for the narrative. It is called framing. I see through it.

Maybe when shit hits the fan in Canada like it currently does in my beloved Europe eyes will open. Praying it does not happen because it ruins your society. But to each his own.

That is so weird. Because if you did live in South Africa, literally the safest thing to be would be a white woman, followed by a white man.

All other racial groups in South Africa are victims of crime at a much higher rate than whites.

And conservatives do quite well in Canada thank you very much. I have been a member of the party since I worked as a young man on John Gamble's campaign. We would have had a huge conservative majority in the last election were it not for the current American president.

I am genuinely curious as to where you are in Europe. In my time there, and from speaking to my many friends and relatives in Austria and Bavaria, they are all pretty content and doing well.

They are probably not affected (yet). Go to Essen or Dortmund. Or Brussels or Paris , unrecognizable. Or London or Birmingham for that matter.

I've seen my country changing, in a bad way, before my eyes. Crime and drugs are skyrocketing, housing problems due to a huge influx of immigrants, cost of welfare benefits through the roof. I'm a proud Dutchman and love my country but things are getting out of hand.

Austria and Bavaria are a lot more conservative but even there it is getting worse. Look at München and Vienna and the influx of radical islamists and the problems that come with it.

I appreciate your honest perspective on those places and will keep an open mind and open eyes going forward.

Although, being a life-long Bayern Munich supporter I really couldn't care less if Dortmund was swallowed by the earth ;-)

That brought a smile on my face. I have no favorite German team but rooted for Bayern Munich many times in European matches. Great team.

I can sometimes go hard in these discussions because it is so close to my heart. Getting riled up and posting is a bad combination.

No animosity against you.

I feel the same way and respect your passion. It is hard to care.

And I loved your boy Arjen Robben! Mr. Wembley forever.
