A P14, P17 action or with out much work cz 550 magnum actio will work. A Less Bauska BBK2 action will also work.

Yup. I would stop here. Second bet would be a Deviant/Ruckus from Defiant. Keep an eye open on long range huntings website. Unless you have a barrel already, you may be able to pick up a BA there.

Kelbly actions. The Atlas and the Prometheus are both made with the .585 bolt face as an option. I have a Prometheus and it is my favorite action period.

I had a custom 338 Improved Lapua built on a "Stiller TAC 338" action over five years ago and I do not regret having chosen it any way shape or form. It's performed flawlessly it mounted in a McMillan stock with "sniper fill" just to add weight and stability. It's definitely not light but it completely fills the bill for what I intended its use to be.

You would save a ton of money buying a finished dialed in project or started project on the “long range hunting forum” some completely dialed and finished projects sell for the price of a new action
