Rare and hard to find 2.5x8x36mm matte black scope, only weighs 11.6 ounces, duplex reticle, 1" tube, Butler flip-up scope caps, exc. like new cond., crystal clear, was only mounted briefly but not even sighted in, decided to go a different route.

The 36mm front objective lens allows it to be mounted using low scope rings on most rifles and with the Leupold Lifetime Guarantee you don't have to be the original owner to use the guarantee.

I don't have many posts here, but I do have 19 excellent feedback ratings on Archery Talk forum and 1 excellent feedback on **NOT**PERMITTED** forum, if you private message me I can tell you more about it.
$425 firm shipped to your door USPS with tracking # in lower 48 states.

Friction or click adjustment?

These are indeed excellent scopes, and that’s a fair price to both the seller and any potential buyers.

For most real life scenarios I think hunters would be better off with a 2-7 or 2.5-8 than the 12x, 16x, 20x, etc. space telescopes they put on theirs rifles.

I'll finally pull the trigger and take it. :O)

I have one on a Ruger #1 and I have the VX2 3-9X 33mm ultralight on my Thompson/Center Encore. This size balances on top a light rifle like those so much better than the big objective scopes and I've yet to need more magnification or light gathering.

A great versatile scope. I have several. Perfect for a .257 Roberts or ..30/06

Most of my hunts are solo — just me, my rifle, and a good map. Sometimes I tag along with an old buddy for a week in Zimbabwe or South Africa, but more often than not, it’s just me.
Big fan of classic hunting — bolt-action rifles, old-school tracking, and taking the time to really be in the moment.
Just did a podcast, check it out if interested!
