In order to visualize this subject, I went to AI. Leopard success rates, by country.
Before posting that I think, to mention main factors to play major role:
- is that a ranch leopard, with solid experience and interaction with humans? (most common in Namibia)
Or is it leopard in wild safari area?
- is night shooting allowed in hunting area?
- is hunting with hounds allowed?
- outfitter and PH experience with leopard?
- local area success history.?
Thats in short, but should be more.
Now this is about country leopard success rate, as per AI:
Source: published research comparing leopard-hunting outcomes across African countries. The study's samples and success rates are historical, not current operator statistics.
