Leopard Electrocuted

According to local media, it happened on a farm close to the town of Worcester in the Western Cape Province of South Africa. The landowner found it when he investigated a power outage.
According to the report, sign at the foot of the pole show a possible struggle and it is thought that the leopard fled up the pole after an altercation with another leopard. Maybe a territorial dispute.

Reminds me of the story of the Alaskan moose that got tangled up in power lines when they were installing them. The crew noticed something wasn’t right and went back to check. They apparently found a very alive and very upset moose hanging 50’ off the ground by its antlers. He lived long enough to get back to the ground, but couldn’t be untangled. They eventually shot him and salvaged the meat.

Happened in BC too with a bighorn. Got caught and lifted up. And it couldn't come off Becuase of the spiral. They had to let the line down back to the ground
