Safe travel and have a great time. I'll be here, green with envy, looking forward to your report!

Hope you had a great time. This is a great thread (though short). In 49 days I am off to SA for 7 day PG hunt. Have all my loads worked up and rifles are ready. Going to complete a test pack over the next 2 weeks and weigh everything (then cut down on what I take). Still researching Taxidermy (States or SA), and need to pick up the loose stuff like memory cards extra batteries. Also intend to try and shoot at least another 50 rounds through each rifle by the end of June. Keep posting comments guys!

6mm,

What rifles are you taking and for what game? What area, province?

About 100 km north of Kimberly, and then down into Zululand. I have 2 Model 700's one in the .375 H&H, and another in 30.06 Ackley

Sounds good, whats on your wannaget list?

The standard fair Impala, Blesbok, wildebeest, Springbok, Zebra, warthog. The real prizes will be Oryx, Southern Greater, and a Nyala. I'd like to take a caracal but understand they are a little difficult

At Kalahari Safari, the Small Things Are the Big Things
The thrill of the stalk. The stillness of the wait. The age-old rhythm of the hunt.
It’s not just about the size of the trophy. It’s about the stories that will be told for years.
We believe the memories are the true prize. The small things are the big things.
And we’re proud to offer a hunting experience that honours exactly that.

Not sure your price range. Have a 375 H&H with a muzzle brake. Nice rifle only fired a few times. Also a Mossberg 375 Ruger its been used and shows a few hunts on it.
Two African Safaris Hunted South Africa both times,
9 game animals taken
