In memoriam - Legendary Professional Hunter Harry Selby passes away at 92

It is always sad when a pillar of the P.H. community passes. But his legacy lives on with those he mentored. Thanks, r.i.p.

RIP Harry, one of the last great hunters.

Rather than mourn his passing, I'll bet he'd prefer that we share his accomplishments in life. Headstones normally bear a name a date of birth and a date of death separated by a dash. While the dates don't count for much, it is the DASH that is the measure of a man's life. Harry, yours' will be remembered for many generations to come.

Last sunday I've read in "The Horn of the Hunter" and thought by myself that Mr. Selby must be more than 90 years of Age.
And then I had to discover the fact... .
My condolences for his family and surviving dependants

R.I.P.

I will pray for his family. He was a certainly a legend.

Truly one of the greats, and one of the few remaining links to the golden age of safari in East Africa.

Sic transit gloria mundi.
