How Many Leopards In The Video

Looks like 4 to me

Yep, 4 is what I see. One on the bait, two others coming in towards the bait and one going away.

I see four as well.

Having hunted with Johann in April/May where my brother and I helped with leopard bait sites, I have to say I was amazed at the number of cats his area holds. Not only did we see photos of numerous different cats on the trail cameras at the bait sites but also spoor and other sign across his properties. We also had an encounter with a large female visiting the waterhole we sat over one afternoon while looking for jackals and baboons. Anyone looking to hunt leopard should give Shona serious consideration.

Man wouldn’t that be something be in a blind watching that scene!

I get three, one on bait, once coming to bait, another following then going away.

I successfully hunted leopard with Johann in 2019 and I was really impressed with his hunting area. Also, Johann is very passionate, knowledgeable and methodical in his pursuit of leopard. If you want to hunt Leopard in Namibia, you won't go wrong booking a hunt with him.

There are 4 in the video, It is also the first time in my career that I see this. My assessment was that it is an old female with a younger female, probably her daughter, and 2 cubs that are almost at the point that they would start wondering off on their own.
At this same bait site we had 2 separate mature Toms eating as well but they came in at different times.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.

Hi EGS

I read your thread with interest. Would you mind sending me that PDF? May I put it on my website?
