There seems to be a lot of evidence of variability or loose quality control. So I think it makes some sense that a guy may have good experiences and then have the opposite.
Some of these bullets seem to perform as expected, others fail misserably. But hey, the bullet you shoot into your big snarly critter might kill it dead in it's tracks... And then on the other hand, that same critter might just kill you
Why take the chance? Especially as other options are becoming more available.
