home libraries, please show

Here is my little corner in our office. I lost a bunch of books during one of our PCS moves, and then when I got divorced. We have a detached garage with a loft, and my wife wants to turn that space into a library. Now that I'm retired, I may have to get on that project. LOL!!!

Nice! I have a gunner's quadrant (also an Iraqi one) and a set of graphical firing scales for the 8" howitzers with which I first served, but would love to find an aiming circle. Laying a battery at 0200 on a cold and foggy night was high adventure.
Ugh. I feel triggered! TFOO-ULU / SADULU

My library is scattered across the two buildings of our place. It is one of my most beloved things. When we bought the home a dozen years ago and did extensive remodeling, I almost did a formal library, but I like great bookcases also.

This little Regency bookcase is special and it contains a collection of Theodore Roosevelt's works signed by the President.

A collection signed by TR is a real treasure and certainly a highlight. I have a copy of East of the Sun, West of the Moon signed by Kermit Roosevelt.

I have quite a few signed works, a number of which that are quite personal. The only subject for whom I stood in line as an unknown was for Margaret Thatcher's "The Downing Street Years." I was an active duty promotable LTC at the time (1993) holding a War College Fellowship at Georgetown Univ. She was having a book signing just off campus. We chatted for quite a while as she signed copies. I remain a huge admirer.

Jake, Sorry to bug you again. I was wondering if you could share a. couple actual pics of this crossbow with me?

Xpedition Archery USED Scrapeline390X Sniper Gray Crossbow XACW1001 - Light Wear - Needs Bolt/Arrow Guide Spring UA5689

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc

Good morning John, I just read your setup procedure for the northstar duplicator ator. I found it very hand and I did learn some things. I have the same machine and I am having a problem i can not figure out and was hoping you could shed some light on the subject.
