Hi All,

I would like to sell my Heym 404 Jeffery. I bought it from Chris Sells in the last three years and just have not shot it much. Have a two year old now and might be a while before I get back to Africa. Lol

Here are the details. I have the rifle, 2 boxes of factory Hornady ammo. A Murray Leather ammo belt and separate ammo pouches. Also a brand new set of Alaska Arms rings for this rifle. (Was going to mount an Aimpoint).

I am in DFW and would prefer face to face. I’m a member at ETTS in Waxahachie Texas and would be willing to meet any potential buyer there at the range so they could shoot it before buying if preferred.

I work at a firearms retailer in DFW and the transfer can be done for free by the compliance manager at our office.

Everything listed above would be $13,000. Or $13,600 if you’d like a Murray leather case included.

Please ask any questions you might have if you are interested. I’m pretty easy to deal with and I think this would be a great rifle for someone who will put it to more use than I do.

Thanks!
Brodie White

Great rifle! What is the LOP? Also, I assume barrel is 24"? It looks a lot longer due to picture angle.

Thanks much.

Yes that is a 24" barrel and it does look longer because I took the pic from the barrel end at a weird angle. LOP is 14.25 if I remember correctly. Compared to a Kimber Caprivi or Winchester Safari Express is it longer Length of pull. Mounts great. Compare to mounting a sporting shotgun vs a field gun. Just feels more substantial.

Thanks. Yeah, was hoping a bit longer LOP. The Germans do have the right idea on LOP. :)

Absolutely! The cookie cutter out of the box "one gun fits all" kind of makes us forget how important fit is. I am more of a shotgunner than rifleman and fit is so important. My LOP on a sporting gun is 15" at the least. Good luck getting that at Bass Pro haha. Well, maybe with spacers from some Beretta's.

I am not in DFW area, I am in MT, however I am interested in your rifle. Very familiar with Heym as I had a 458 Lott ordered and made for me but was so delayed I had to buy a different gun for my safari. Let me know if you are interested in selling outside of DFW.

Thank you and apologies for the late response. The sale did go through and the rifle has been transferred to its new owner.

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks

hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
