Gun or caliber you’ve never owned but always wanted?

@ Brian Rothhammer

I know a 10,75x68 Mannlicher-Schoenauer for sale in Sweden - but not for 175 $...

That would spare you the bother of time travel.

I believe if I could have an Ischler Stutzen, like the one HWL posted with his gams in "Austria Hunting Pictures", my search for the perfect rifle would be over. Oh, and while I'm dreaming, in 7x57R of course.

Blaser & Mauser

An old Mannlicher Schoenauer for sure, 9,3x62 would be the best, but even a Mauser 66 in 8x68S could be loved !

Literally any Holland and Holland.

As far as calibers, .458 Lott, .505 Gibbs, .375 Cheytac, 20mm, 9x25 Dillon, .50 BMG, .303 British. Basically anything super big or super fast...

just saw a modern made westley Richards farquarson in 450/400.
nice.
failing that a soroka farquarson might be as good or even better due to design.
that one might be nice in 7stw.
of course a gibbs/farquarson long range target rifle original in 461 gibbs no2 with original sights for both tang and heel, and an original bullet mould would be excellent as well.
bruce.

Some pretty dreamy wish lists here compared to mine.

Crap, i'd be happy with a full length (22 or 24") barrelled 7600 in .35 Whelen which are no longer made and will cost me more than an arm and a leg to import in to this country, instead of the 18.5" barrelled version which is sure to blow my dogs ear drums apart.

Crap on Remington.

A Remington Model 7 Mannlicher .350 Remington Magnum. I have not seen one for a while now but have always wanted one as I consider them the ultimate bush gun

I'm curious . Does anyone actually make factory loaded Ammo for the .256 Mannlicher anymore ?
I saw a Mannlicher model in Switzerland many years ago. But it didn't have the detachable rotary magazine. Instead , you fed a clip containing 5 rounds of .256 into the rifle . After you fired four shots and chambered the fifth , the steel clip would drop down onto the ground. I was really intrigued by it . The owner told me that you can't apparently load the gun without the clips. I think he called it an in-block clip. I would think that for a hunter this is a very big disadvantage. Imagine blasting away at game in the heat of the moment , and after your fourth shot , your clip has dropped off somewhere in the bush.
