Not taxidermy but looks good in a trophy room or anywhere in the home, sorry if I put it on wrong spot, wasn't sure where to post
A few of you might remember me posting in the classifieds a few weeks ago looking for a old double shot gun for a project. Well that project was finished a few minutes go. Turned out good. Few touch up are probably needed but it was so close the first time don't know if I'll take it apart again, the barrels are heavy and I got buy once not dinging up the walls putting it all together. Wife and I just moved in a week ago, got lucky once not digging the walls think I'll for now, will probably touch up after where all moved in good. The barrels are joined together with a slug machined to fit in side the barrels then fit inside the metal tubbing. It was heart breaking to drill a screw in the gun barrel but gun now has another life

Amazing! What kind of tubing did you use to make the "barrels?" (That would.be lightning In a bottle at the turkey shoot!)

They are stainless steel, friend owns a machine shop, i was able to get some left-over metal they currently didn't have use for, traded him some 45-colt ammo for it. Have you priced 45 colt ammo recently??? Wow!!

That is a fantastic craft, never seen anything like it!

Nice work. love the concept.

Very cool project and great execution .
Since you used a real shotgun, do the hammers and triggers still function?
Well done!

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.

Dan who is C. W. Richter? He seems to not be a fan of myself!
