GREENLAND: Hunting Muskox & Caribou With JKO / Sable Safari

Looks like you have had a fantastic trip and hunt.

Really appreciate the story and photos L!

It was actually the best hunt I have ever taken. When you're above the artic circle you are in a true wilderness. Walking in on foot packing out. It was not easy for a 68 year old but truly satisfying to be able to accomplish it. This hunt actually started in April that is when I started working out at the gym. If I would have never worked out it would have been tuff to even make it to camp. If I keep up the work outs maybe sheep[emoji3]

Keep active and you'll be up there chasing them.

Awesome! Report & photos.

Looks like you had a great hunt, especially enjoyed the photos you shared with your story. Would love to visit Greenland some day.

Great hunt Lenny. Awesome effort and trophies!

I reread this and it was just as enjoyable the second time! My wife and I drove to Deadhorse, Alaska camping on the pull offs each direction. Tundra is amazing stuff! Extremely hard to walk on! You did well for sure.
Some fine arctic trophies! Thanks for sharing a true North American adventure!

Most of my hunts are solo — just me, my rifle, and a good map. Sometimes I tag along with an old buddy for a week in Zimbabwe or South Africa, but more often than not, it’s just me.
Big fan of classic hunting — bolt-action rifles, old-school tracking, and taking the time to really be in the moment.
Just did a podcast, check it out if interested!
