I sold it on this site a couple years ago and I think it went in the $3ish thousand range when I sold it. It’s already at $5000 with time to go! I guess I gotta stop selling excess rifles on AH and use Morphys in the future!

Perfect! The 404 Jeffrey @Just Gina has is a CZ 550 that started life as a 375 H&H. And it shoots about 3/4" wearing a Leupold VX 6 1-6x24 illuminated scope. I borrowed it to pluck a buffalo out of a group with the only clear shot I had. Right behind the left ear Also shot my Tanzania lion with it Cycles and feels smoothly and reliability. It does have some custom trigger as well.

Can't really recommend it, only on the grounds that it is an underpowered cartridge, but an attractive Purdey in .400 Purdey. Alternatively, buy a Chapuis in 9.3x74R and have some money left over.

There are some really nice things there, the Daniel Fraser boxlock in 450-400, the quite wacky pair of Dumoulin rifles (with NASA and Marine Corps inspired engraving.
