Thank you.

Louis, thank you for your most generous offer to hunt with you in Africa! To say I am excited about this opportunity would be an understatement. I too would like to express my gratitude to Jerome Philippe and Africahunting.com for hosting this contest. I have enjoyed reading the essays and was humbled when fellow hunters graciously chose to opt out of the contest hoping that a first timer might win. Gentlemen, thank you all very much. Louis, I am really looking forward to hunting with you as well. Sincerely, Thomas "Ty" Beaham

Congratulations Thomas!

As Skyline said, "now the fun begins". I think this trip will be life changing as many of us have already had the opportunity to experience. I am certain that hunting with Louis will be great fun and he will make sure that your hunt is unforgettable. A great PH is truly an important aspect of having the hunt of a lifetime.

Thank you to everyone who participated, some of the essays were really excellent. And most of all thank you to Louis and Spiral Horn Safaris for offering this generous hunting safari to a member of our community!

Congratulations

Good on you Thomas, it is difficult to keep the green eyed monster (envy):D at bay seeing you getting ready to go to Africa and me going back out to plow snow but I do sincerely congratulate you and wish you the best of luck.

And thanks to Spiral Horn Outfitters for the opportunity.;)

Thomas. Congratulations in being selected for this hunt.

I had the distinct pleasure of meeting Louis this evening. After setting around the table with a couple of cold ones, I know you are in for one of the greates rides of your life Thomas. :thumb:

Louis I really enjoyed visiting with you and hope you get to fulfill your wish to hunt the "Grey Ghost" of North America; the Rocky Mountain Elk.

Cheers

Congratulations, Ty!

Be warned, though. There is no such thing as just one hunting trip to Africa.

Hi Bob, how's things going in Wyong?. Down your way a couple of years back but haven't been in NSW since Ebor for the fishing. just getting over some nasty storms up here in Qld, seeing the sun for the first time in a few days. I'm going to NZ in the spring and hope to clean up a few buns while there and perhaps shake the spiders out of my old .303LE (currently owned by my BIL). Cheers Brian

Heard you may have load data for the 500 Jeffery,.....any info would be appreciated. Was thinking 535gr, but already had a response that the 570gr would be a better way to go, not sure why.
