dove hunting

you can see de pelets cloud is arriving the dove

I've been to that exact spot i think. Was that from the overlook in Chirisa?

Yep, I think they called it Chewandi (spelling). Loved sitting up there late in the evening watching a little bit of everything. This picture was after my buddy and I did 25 miles after buffalo that day. I had my PH (Scott Bailey) spend the day with the wives while I went with my buddy and Mark after Buffalo. They surprized us with a four course meal up on the bluff that night. A perfect end to a perfect day at Chirisa!

Third Bird

"Third bird"

This is the third bird from a triple I shot last fall. They got up within 5 seconds of each other and I shot all three. My dog, Dash, marked all three and delivered all to hand. Gotta love a good bird dog.

So Close!

"So Close!"

These are photos of the same deer before and after a shot that my son took on his first bowhunt. I photo shopped the lines in for reference so you can see how far she dropped at the shot. His arrow went right where he was aiming but she was not there when it got there. You can just see the green fletching of his arrow inside the red circle in the second photo. It was a clean miss right over the shoulder.

Redemption

"Redemption"

After missing with his bow earlier in the year (see above post), we broke out the "thunder stick" and he redeemed himself. The smile says it all. I was one proud papa!

yup when they are that pleased with themselves it is great. not knowing about arrows etc was it a miss, as to me it looks like its in the back of the neck?

It was a clean miss right over the shoulder. She dropped straight down, before she turned and the arrow went right over her back.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
