Krish,
Is that a 348? If so I would like to ask for her hand in marriage! Lol. Beautiful rifle Sir!
Cheers,
Cody

Yes it is a 1956 winchester 348. Never been fired. I just cleaned the out side. In the box with original tags. I was just teasing Tim. He was looking for a shooter made in 1957. I have a collection of 348's made my winchester of different years. Only Two Nib. Both 1956. Then got some Browning 348's. Then some winchester made for 2011 shot show. The 2011's are all NIB.
I HAVE NOT SHOT ANY OF THEM.. MAY BE NEXT WEEK WHEN RANGE OPENS. But work starts to next week. The 348's winchester made in 56 I p 6k for each. Few Brownings higrade are also NIB's. They are all my 401k's.

It was great to meet up with a member. Went to reload last night and realized I had no more .416 bullets. So $600+ to Grafs, and I’m set. (Maybe that wasn’t all bullets, but it’s like going to Walmart, you can’t just leave with one thing).

This epic free classified thread on Tarbe’s great .416 Taylor rifle has been going since October of last year. Bet we could keep it going till this October or when a vaccine for Covid 19 is discovered- whichever comes first? I’m game!

When Larry Potterfield says “Thank you for your business” I feel like he is talking to me through the tv sometimes. Lol

I hope Kathy never figures out how to get into my account at Midway, to see a summary of all my orders. She would stroke out for sure!

Nice to meet you Glenn!

Well I put a Zeiss 1-4 on it, so I can always blame a low magnification scope of my groups are big.

I only loaded a total of 58 rounds for this rifle....350gr TSX and 63gr of AA2460 was a starter load at 2,237 fps ave. I guess you could kill a Moose or Elk with that!

64gr of Re12 and the same 350 TSX gave 2,270...another light load.

There is plenty of data out there...it is even covered in Ken Waters' Pet Loads.

gracias. I saw on another forum the guy that sold it before you had a load he said he would get to the buyer. Just didn’t know if he did or not.

load development is part of the fun anyway I guess. Although today at the range I felt like I was making brass instead of shooting groups.

So I finally got to the range and got to meet up with Bullthrower as well. Got to shoot it a little and I like it. Groups are at 50 yards, as this was first trip to range with it and wanted to mainly get it sighted in.

Hi the dude in the picture. It would be cool to know the area (genetics) of the stag you have in your profile picture. I am from New Zealand and shot a stag here that is almost identical, especially the throw backs. I can send you a photo to prove I'm genuine with my enquiry.
