For Sale Chapuis Brousse double rifle 470NE

New this gun is now $17,000 with new pricing old was $14,500.

You would not get it from me for $10,500.
@Flewis - Selling now on Guns International: New $14,499 and used $10,500, I think Champlain Arms has both listed.

The Chapuis Brousse is a great double rifle. I have owned a number of doubles including a Brousse in.470NE. The Brousse .470 was the most accurate shooting double I have owned. I sold it because, at the time, I was in need of some cash, but not a day goes by where I don't regret selling it!

Well done Mitch. Now come to Africa for a buffalo.

Is this still available

You just saved me $10,500 in a weak moment. I just read complete thread and was going to pull the trigger, but alas, an angel intervened. Congrats on your snag!

Congratulations to seller and buyer. I was looking at it seriously. In a way glad it sold.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
