I had some scrap metal laying around and decided to make a desk mount for my euro sable skull. Traced an Africa printout on some tread plate I had, cut it out with a plasma cutter, and welded it to a thick piece of plate. I thought it needed more surface area for stability so attached some chain links to the corners. Drilled the hole for the upright, then sprayed it with some rust encapsulator paint I had from a previous project. I did source the actual clamp from skullmax online. I think it turned out nice and I’m learning TIG welding so it was a good opportunity to practice. Let me know what you think.

Very creative and well done!!!

Looks great! You might consider outlining outside edges of Africa shape in off white to match color of skull as closely as you can, Or not. C:

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
