Dear friends,

The demand for Botswana elephant has exceeded our wildest expectations and as a result thereof, we bought extra elephant from the government auctions in Gabarone.

We are happy to announce the following hunting options for the current hunting season (some until November 2011):

ELEPHANT IN PRIME CONTROLLED HUNTING AREAS

Both NG35 (delta area around Maun) and CT4 (south of CT2/Kukama) in Eastern Botswana are renouned for its excellent ivory carrying elephant. We have ONE (1) elephant left in each area! (The areas are marked in dark green and red on the map attached).

Price:
- 1 x NG35 - $57,100 (to be hunted from NG34 (Sankuyo) camp (Sept to Nov 2011 dates available)
- 1 x CT4 - $55,700 (to be hunted from CT2 (Kukama) camp (Sept to Nov 2011 dates available)

The above price is an all inclusive package for ivory up to 59.5lbs. Our standard price list and terms and conditions, as attached, will at all times apply.

Dates:

The above safaris can be made available up to the end of November 2011 (normal hunting season ends 20 September 2011) but ideally, we would like to hunt them directly after the close of the current hunting season or during the season, should dates become available.

OTHER ELEPHANT AVAILABLE IN JCS CONCESSION AREAS

Due to some 2011 clients opting to take auction elephant rather than their booked safaris, as well as a postponement to 2012, we now have the following available in our own concessions. These must be hunted before the close of the hunting season on 20 September 2011:

- 1 x CT2 (Kukama camp) - $55,700
- 2 x NG34 (Sankuyo camp) - $50,700
- 2 x NG42 (Masame camp) - $34,400 for trophy package, $25,000 for management bull package;

We are dealing with all enquiries/bookings on a strict first-come-first-serve basis and NO safari will be confirmed without a full 30% deposit on hand.

Don't let this golden opportunity pass you by! Who knows how long we'll still be privileged enough to hunt these magnificent beasts in this wild and wonderful country?

See attached Johan Calits Safaris price list for 2011 in a pdf format.

Contact me for dates, bookings or enquiries.

Kind regards,
Tharia

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Nice one there. I guided for mulies and elk for about 10 or so years in northern New Mexico.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
