Elephant Hunt In Zimbabwe Late Season 2023 Special

That’s not good. I suppose the elephants move in and out at different times. The area that I hunted with Wayne was made up of several large tracts of privately held land. We walked in and looked at a nice bull the 1st morning but passed, and tracked the group of 5 bulls that I found mine in around 3:00ish on Day 1. The one I took checked all the boxes, and was the oldest in the group. Done Day 1. I didn‘t mind the early finish so much, as we switched over to buffalo. Luck of the draw , I suppose. That was in late June this year. Also took a couple of bushbuck, impala and a nice kudu, along with the buffalo.

That sounds like a planet complet different that I had done the hunting. I must be the hunter with worse luck of the universe...

I just finished a great hunt with Wayne. Looked at around 30 bulls. Mine was around 35lbs and I couldn't be happier. Also took a nice kudu, bushbuck, and duiker. I will definitely be back to hunt with Wayne and Nyamazana.

Did this hunt with Wayne many years ago when he freelanced. What a hunt we had, thick with ele when I was there, shot mine in daylight and he was "big" around 50 lbs. Wayne said how lucky I was and today years later it still rings true. Lifetime memories made, that I will someday redo.

I hunted with Wayne in May. What an exciting Elephant hunt with fantastic PH and a great team of Elephant hunters. We hunted hard and had close encounters on multiple Bulls in the different areas. Truly a thrilling experience as we took our Elephant about a week into the hunt. I really enjoyed hunting and talking with Wayne throughout the Safari. Comfortable camp with delicious food. Good, hot food goes a long way on a hunt.
