Dreams can come true

Looks like a blast!!

Such an amazing opportunity, living here! I woke up this morning and decided to travel four countries today, cycling in each and again Italy when I return. 5 country in 2 days! First up is Austria

Enjoy the adventure, lots of new experiences!

Beyond the extended return trip through Switzerland, it was great. I did a short ride when I got back to make to 5 bike rides, 6 countries, two days and one tired man!

What an awesome adventure! Please keep sharing.

Another view from Austria, no idea what town

A church in Liechtenstein, Schaan

Rhine River overlooking Switzerland, which I crossed to cycle there as well, Buchs

Liechtenstein castle after dark, Vaduz

Small town Germany, Rhinebrücke, where I slept in the car and waited out rain. I also had to check an inner tube that got a pinch flat on the last trip

Hills in Cernay, France I didn't reach due to road work. I'm glad to see that crap happens not only in the States!

Small bar that was open at ten. I walked in thinking I'd get food. I worked out that they don't cook until 11. Twenty min wait, no problem. I got a bottle of oj and sat down. Everyone who walked in greeted everyone else, a strange thing to see from my perspective. Quarter after 11 I hadn't see the woman again. I dropped the 5€ bill in the table, since I didn't know how much it was, and left. McDonald's was the fall back so I could start a 6.5 hour drive.

Church in downtown Cernay

Swiss Alps. The A3 had road work as well, stopping traffic dead from a traffic light, and adding 90+ min to the trip!

Red traffic light on the main thoroughfare in the mountains. The ugliest thing I ever saw! No get around here

Almost out of Switzerland and back to Italy

And back to my current home city. I didn't want that last ride, but being that close to a goal meant I couldn't NOT do it. I got between 2 and 4 miles in each country, and lapel pins from two that had gift shops open.

I'm unfortunately on a diet. Presently in VA hospital as Agent Orange finally caught up with me. Cancer and I no longer can speak. If all goes well I'll be out of here and back home in Thailand by end of July. Tough road but I'm a tough old guy. I'll make it that hunt.

Business is the only way to fly. I'm headed to SA August 25. I'm hoping that business isn't an arm and a leg. If you don't mind, what airline and the cost for your trip. Mine will be convoluted. I'll be flying into the states to pick up my 416 Rigby as Thailand doesn't allow firearms (pay no attention to the daily shootings and killings) so I'll have 2 very long trips.
