My walls in my office are covered up in my mounts and oil paintings I have shared with everyone on our great forum. I thought you might want to see two things I did with my Gemsbok I took in August 2023.
1. I took the two horns and had them make me standing lamps...notice the horns and porcupine quill shades.
2. I took the skin and had a beautiful rifle case made.

For once, my wife, the beautiful Mrs. Rare Breed, loved something I brought back from Africa!!!!

I love the creativity. My wife asked if we could use as much of her first buck as possible. She has a great Euro and a tanned hide that we use as a throw over our coffee table in the den.

Love these kinds of creative ideas. Thanks for sharing.

How did you remedy the fixture problem on the lamps?
Gun case and lamps are great!

wonderful job did you make these yourself ? looks beautiful.

I never would have thought to do that with the lamps. That's really sharp. The gun case, obviously, is beautiful.

I went online to Antiqe Lighting and bought two US sockets with cords for $50 total then had my handy man install

I’ll have to remember the gun case… that looks good.

I saw wall sconces similar to your lamps at Africa Sky, that’s definitely a nice touch for your office.

Absolutely love natural wildlife decor there's nothing better too my eyes.

Great rifle bag. I might steal that idea one day ;)

Made it to Augusta Georgia yesterday for a meeting, hunt bookings are looking good for 2026 and 2027, had a great time on our Alabama safari shot a rutting deer at 200 yards with 7mm PRC near Huntsville and then headed on to Butler Alabama and semi guided my first deer ever shot a very nice broken off 8 point with hunter there and spend a few days on 1100 acres hunting preserve awesome place!

I am righthanded, so not interested in the rifle, but I have a 375 RUM and 350 gr bullet loading data is very hard to come by. If you could reply with information regarding your loads I would greatly appreciate it. Thank you, Ray Boone, Leavenworth, WA

Hello - I was looking at your post from several years ago regarding the Winchester 300 H&H. Any chance you still have the lefty M70 300 H&H for sale?
Thank you, Mike

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
