Does anyone know the H2O capacity of S&B 7x57 brass?

I don’t but have a question…
When measuring capacity with water, do you fill to the neck or all the way full?
Also, is there anything you prep the case with to avoid air clinging to the inside of the case?

I have some S&B brass in 7x57 - message me what you need doing and I’ll happily test it

I don’t know squat about loading, but I do know you can get volume by the weight.
Volume = Weight / Density.

The density of distilled water is the easiest to figure out at a certain temperature.

1 gram per cubic centimeter (g/cm³) or 1 gram per milliliter (g/mL),

I can’t find a piece of S&B brass with an intact primer to measure it. However, if it helps in your comparison quest, I did have an intact spent Hornady .275 Rigby case which I measured for you:

Weight of case with spent primer without water: 178.9 gn

Weight of case with spent primer with water: 238.0 gn

238.0 - 178.9 = 59.1 gn

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
