@CoElkHunter was having the same issue and had Kevin Weaver at Weaver Rifles fix it. I’d contact one of those two but I’m pretty sure it was a bolt modification that needed to be done and not the magazine spring.

Yes. The rim on the third cartridge coming up from the right hand side on my CZ Lott wouldn’t always be captured by the extractor. I took it to Kevin Weaver. He polished the bolt face and extractor. He then removed an ever so small amount of material from the rails He also took out a little material from the magazine follower. It cycles flawlessly now. Kevin has built MANY larger bore rifles and he definitely knows what he is doing. Remember, a number of these CZ rifles manufactured later were subject to tooling that was wearing out before CZ stopped making them in about 2018 for that very reason.

What part of the bolt assembly is pushing the last round out of the control of the feed lip/lips ? Is it the bolt face or is it the extractor ? Or is the last round popping out of the control of the feed lip when withdrawing the bolt with no forward movement?

Here is a video of problem. It seems to last round would have weakest spring tension, so I will wait for springs to arrive before sending it to a gunsmith.

You have to upload the video to YouTube and then provide a link to it in your post. I did it once to post two videos of me fast loading/cycling the 404 I built and one of me snapping over on cartridges dropped into empty chamber. Got tired of the naysayers claiming my "homemade" rifle was unreliable. So yes I've done the video post route once but don't remember all the ins and outs. I sure would like to see exactly what's going on with that gun.

Huh I don't know. Does not look like that on my end but I just looked it up again. Went to you tube pushed search icon typed in; racking 5 rounds through 550 cz.
Dozens of cz videos come up but mine is near the top. I don't see a link to copy. Sorry wish I was better with you tube.

Here is another pic of a shell that did pop out. You can see the extractor is not going to engage the rim. The is just a little bit to high and the extractor ends up pushing the case out with no control.

The above case did pop out of the magazine. So I am thinking squeezing feed lips ever so slightly will fix it. What do you guys think.
