CZ 537 - 7x57 - not one I was even aware of

Just picked this one up @ auction in my fav calibre - 7x57 - thought it was a misprint by the auction house - of which I am very well aquainted - however when verified for the export permit - discovered the transational model from the 602 to the 550

Who knew

another 2 months until I receive it.

Great buy. I handled one of these in Dallas decades ago, I think in 30-06, Czech workmanship, solid.

I had one for a short while, a friend had to have it. He still has it and it’s become his favourite rifle. They are very nicely made.

A 537 in’06 was the rental rifle I used on my 2008 South Africa hunt. It was well worn, but knocked things over quite nicely.
