A rare and special sighting today in the bushveld! One of our favorite little animals! Bat-eared foxes are known for their abnormally large ears... They can even hear insects moving underground! They also use their large ears to stay cool. It is their defining attribute. Have you been lucky enough to spot a bat-eared fox in the wild?

On our trip in 2018 to Namibia, we had a family of four that would come in right before dark to this one water trough. Very cool experience seeing them in the wild.

Very cool little critters. I have had them come in on several occasions when calling for jackal with predator call. Seems like they are very curious!

Very cool little foxes. Saw one in 2013 in the eastern cape and the 2018 safari saw an unbeliveable 11during 3 nights of small cat and porcupine hunting in the NW province.

Have never seen one in the wild only at a zoo.

I saw one at Kowas, in Namibia 2018. That and an Aardwolf. I had no idea what I was looking at either time, just that everyone else in the bakkie was pretty stoked about seeing them, and proclaimed it to be a very lucky day.

I got to see some while hunting springbok in the Eastern Cape back in 2018. Also saw a meerkat that had climbed up some scrub brush that same day. That to me made the day a success as I love seeing the non-game species as well!

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
