Anyone have any contacts for Austria. I’d like to avoid the booking agents and Luxury hotels and talk direct to the Game manager/pro hunter/landowner and arrange a trip for this fall. One day I’d like to hunt Ibex but I’ll dip my toe in Europe for a chamois

I have hunted Fallow Stag, Chamois. Sika, Capercaillie, and wild boar with him in Austria. Next year we will hunt roe deer in Hungary. Can not recommend them more highly. In each of the previous hunts we extended it into a wonderful vacation.

Salzburg and Vienna are as amazing as the hunting.

No Romania. Asking about Austria cause I want to look over some Ibex also and maybe be able to hunt with the same Guide at a later time for Ibex. Direct flight into Germany, relatives in Germany (non hunting). October and Oktoberfest. Asking about Austria. Thank you

I have contacted them twice recently regarding ibex hunting.
Once they answered that they don't do it, the second time (I found a specific offer on their own website!) they didn't even answer.

For Chamonix - try to ask @pimes ?

If anyone has direct contact with a hunter/professional hunter/landowner regarding ibex hunting, I would also appreciate it. Thank you.

Hunting In Austria, Miesenbach is who I hunted with. Klemens is always at DSC and SCI and provides a very good service for his clients. I hunted Ibex and wild boar.

I’ve seen the great hunting reports from members here but I have contacted Elio (booking agent) before and when I start asking specific questions and we try and narrow down dates and additional costs. The communication breaks down on his end. And maybe that’s just translation. But again booking agent.

It is hard to say. You don't see fences there but I am sure there are some Due to the trophy quality they have.
