Canada's boy king Bans Firearms - List of 1500

Typical liberal mentality, ban something that was used in a crime that was not legally possessed in the first place by the culprit that committed the crime. Punish the legal owners, makes perfect sense!

I see Canada has banned military looking assault rifles.
Just watch how every time there’s an “issue” there will be tighter new gun laws.
In Australia after the Port Arthur massacre the prime minister (who hated guns) introduced “tough new gun laws”.
I might add that they only applied to law biding citizens.
Almost all murders in Australia are committed by “sharp instruments” but whenever there’s a mass murder or murder by knives, not a word from our left wing media (tv in particular) about it. No calls for tough new knife laws.
But a murder involving a firearm: well they’re over it like a rash, the tv “experts” talk about tightening gun laws.
They speak as if they actually knew something so it’s no wonder I don’t watch!

I’m sorry for those in Nova Scotia, but are they going to ban propane? Pressure cookers? Trucks? Autos? Fertilizer? Ammonia? Baking soda? Bleach? Alcohol? CO2? Halon? Knives???
Maybe the best idea is to come up with a virus that kills everyone under 50? It seams like they are most of the nut cases? Those older seem hungry for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

Oh, unless they are politicians!

I am a Canadian and I have some of these rifles.

It seems to me there are two possible lessons to be taken from the most recent massacre. The first is that since a criminal had firearms he was banned by law from having, the solution is to take firearms away from law abiding gun owners. Apparently, that will ensure that those who break the law will not break this particular law.

The second lesson is that if the government cannot protect you, they should allow you to protect yourself. Here, the government did nothing to help over 20 people who were killed by this criminal, in a day long rampage. If any of these people, or if someone around them, had the means to protect themselves or others, could it be that lives could have been saved?

But of course, our government takes the emotional approach (to this as to everything) and bans certain types of guns. What will this accomplish? Nothing, other than to ensure lives continue to be put at risk. And when the next tragedy comes, we will say it was not because the original law was ineffective, but because it was not stringent enough.

Only when every firearm is taken from every lawful gun owner and these tragedies continue will these people be forced to admit their solution was anything but.

No crisis goes to waist with the socialists!
Perfect timing, as people can’t go on the streets to protest against the confiscation of legally acquired property and they are blind by the other scam, the assault on freedom of speech and choice. (I’m referring to YouTube and Google censorship on information on what really is happening for the last 2-3 month).

Learn from oz!

What I meant was that the government starts driving a tiny wedge in and then justifies everything the lefties want!!
Soon you’ll not be allowed anything!

It's completely ridiculous what he's forcing through, if we had a conservative leader with balls or a leader at all for that matter I don't believe he'd be able to get it through. Hell im a Nova Scotian and I feel far safer with what options I have to defend myself then I do in the laws ability to protect me.

Of corse how could one expect any form of genius from a man who's father put in motion the destruction of our armed forces and scuttled a perfectly good aircraft carrier.

What many people won't understand is that Trudeau was elected with 36% of the popular vote. That's right folks. 64% of Canadians wanted anyone but him, and he's who we have. And has the gall to say he has a "strong mandate." This is what passes for democracy in Canada.

In Labor state government started gunshots are closed because the state governments seem to think we’ll revolt or something.
Labor is the same as the Democrat party in USA.
You’ll notice that it’s only the Labor government states.
Omg I hate them!!

this is how politics works.
they create 2 groups, and then side with the bigger one.
a firearms incident is an ideal situation to do this.
john howard (in fact his wife) did this after port Arthur, and he looked strong.
it was so sucsessful that he kept dividing Australia, until it is now seriously polarized, and it backfired on him.
all successful politicians have studied how adolf hitler came to power and this was his primary tactic.
the jews were the minority group.
ray, don't think it is just the lefties.
I thought howard would stand by us, but he did the opposite.
he had a plan ready to go prior to port Arthur, and that just triggered it.
after ww1 and ww2, the biggest fear politicians had was the people.
at those times, there were many trained soldiers around.
bruce.
