"Camels are easy to kill"

Are Camels abundant in Australia? Are they a pest?
Yes,
They are a pest but in certain areas. The bottom half of Australia would have very low numbers. Only isolated populations

Estimate s of population vary greatly. Between 300,000 to 1,000,000. Australia is a big place so it's not an obvious problem

On a large property of 1million acres I they don't see them regularly.

When they start walking through fences they get the attention of the landholder who then makes the priority.

@Bob Nelson 35Whelen I'd be interested in hunting if/when things line up. Like everything distance is a big part out here.

Been reading what I can on Butchering band eating Camel. Not going to convert but I would take some meat.

Ive made Salami and a Bison sausage , Metwurst is next. I will try using some game meats of I'm gonna harvest them.

Stupid auto correct, in my last post. 'Bison Sausage" I've never seen a Bison.

Thank you, I really enjoy learning about other countries from those who are actually there. We can be friends across miles of ocean.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
