Just completed this piece. I did the mounts, snd my talented client John made the shield out of Australian redgum hardwood.
Both hunted on a trip we took together in 2019 with KMG Hunting Safaris, South Africa.

That's a very unique and attractive mount! I'm thinking of having something similar done, but my taxidermist has never seen something like that before and has no idea where to purchase pre-made, so will have to make one from scratch. Would you be so kind as to tell us the dimensions of the shield and the base?

I'm sorry I can only be of limited assistance, as my client built the shield and its now with him. All I know is he built it from scratch and the shield stands roughly 6' tall.

I don't think I've seen one such as this before, it's awesome (sorry for using that word)!

See you are from Denmark - see quite a few Danes where I stalk in Scotland - great hunters.
The Harkilia stuff works well in Africa - I have a bit for use here in UK.
