The wide one was with a Heym PH 470 NE, and the other was with a Heym PH 450/400.

The only thing forgotten and not seen again will be those trophy fee and day rates.

This bull was one of the most memorable. I killed him and another bull after a long hike up a big hill in Tanzania with Cliff Walker in Kizigo. He had no desire to die. My 470 got a workout on this bull. He took 6 of us to load him cut in half. By far the biggest bodied bull I have seen.

WELL DONE!

Hello Martin,
Congratulations!
What kind of ammos have you used ? cal. bullet ..?

This one was apparently sold for 6M Rand a few years ago as a stud bull. I have no more information than that or even if this is true but nevertheless, it is a monster bull........

Cape Buffalo ~ Lebombo Conservancy, Mozambique
Seen on the first morning of the safari, this old bull was too good to pass up. A spectacular trophy hunted by a true gentleman of the field in Mozambique.

Jerome, you know these are killing some of us. The old double is being scoped right now and I am temporarily grounded. But when released I'm Africa bound. By the way Merry Christmas to all.

Jerome, do you think my last post in rough camping must maybe shift as an article?

Good afternoon,

I'm trying to get in contact with Mr Butch Searcy. I have the opportunity to buy one of his rifles chambered in 577 nitro Express however the seller does not have any of the paperwork with the information about what ammunition or bullet weight was used to regulate it. I know he is not making firearms anymore but I wanted to reach out after seeing one of your post about him.

Hi - the only (best) method of sending you the .375/06IMP data is with photographing my book notes. My camera died so the only way I can do it is with my phone. To do that, I would need your e-mail address, as this
new Android phone is too complicated to upload to my desk computer, which would be easier and to down-grade, reduce the file sizes.
Best wishes
Daryl
