Hello Buck wild. Yes Debbie from Mochaba out of Maun is the only taxidermist or dip and pack. It is very easy to get trophies out of Botswana. I have never had any complaints. Not sure where you heard she is unresponsive. Please PM me if you need any information.

Would love to hunt Botswana sometime, nice to have a Botswana outfitter here. Is this free range or high fenced hunting ? I also have heard complaints about D&P and timely service and emails unanswered.

I have hunted with Jaco twice now and no issues with dip and pack. Debbie from Mochaba always answered my emails and kept me updated. My family group was over for hunt this past season and took 18 animals. Just got word yesterday that the shipment was on the way. This shipment did take a little longer but we had some euros done with Debbie and had our zebra tanned there.

In more normal times - what are the travel options to fly to Botswana from the U.S.? Any direct flights or is transit through SA necessary?

Shootist. No direct flights to Maun which is our pick up and drop off airport. Qatar offers a flight to Gabarone Botswana but still requires transit to Maun. The flight form Joburg is just under 2 hours.
