Bison at the Rockin G Ranch

It warms my soul to have American bison on the ranch. This young bull was having a drink of water.
Bison were pretty much wiped out in Texas by the turn of the 20th century. To have them back in their native land on my ranch is special thing to me.

Well I’m hoping to drum up enough interest and business on the to have a fairly sizable herd but like anything else it’s gotta pay if it’s gunna stay. If I can’t make enough money to keep them going then I will only have a couple as a novelty.
