S.C.I. Wild Sheep Foundation,
Here is one of my specialty hunts that I exclusively book for. You may know the name FRED WEBB. Fred had the #1 area by far for Barren Ground Musk-Ox. All the record books are dominated by Fred Webb or the Kugluktuk area including all the World Records and the majority if not all of the top 10's in each!

I now work directly with the Community of Kugluktuk and the same people who Fred had working for him. Since I have taken over from Fred 4 years ago the quality of the hunt has remained the same or if not improved. We are still harvesting Boone & Crockett bulls each and every year. This past season was no exception with half the bulls green scoring into the B&C and/or the P&Y record books including one bull that scored into the top 5 of B&C and one Bull scoring into the top 5 of P&Y. There is simply no better place to hunt Barren Ground Musk-Ox PERIOD!

These hunts take place from mid-March to mid-April each spring.

Musk Ox has always been at the top of my list since I was a little kid! I almost took a job in Iqaluit just so I could be a resident!

Yea it does look bloody cold , no place for you Aussies in your shorts and jandels !

Prime habitat for a Kiwi though! You would be right at home with those chilly winds - just like Stewart Island;););)! ;);)And for the record we wear thongs not jandals - but man is this hard to explain in America!

That's definitely a bucket list thing for me. I'm thinking a Greenland hunt though. It looks awfully cold there. I guess that would be part of the experience though.

Barren Ground Musk-Ox is a unique animal and I found it to be a terrific hunting experience due to the elements and terrain. Needless to say proper clothing is essential.

Men wearing thongs is indeed something that in most places in America still is frowned upon!

The Greenland hunt's are great, make sure if you do it to combine with Reindeer! I too want to do that hunt. Looked into it several times.

Yeah those combo hunts for musk ox and caribou are great! This isn't in Greenland, it's in Nunavut, in November. But you get the idea.

I just saw Budsgunshop.com has both the guide gun and the African for $1150. FWIW - I bought both and decided to use the Guide gun - I restocked it in a Bell and Carlson stock and I added the Alaska arms floor plate to add a round. I wanted the shorter barrel as I will use a suppressor. I wont go lower than $1100, but I will ship it and no sales tax.

Let me know if you are interested
