Good day all

I have recently qualified as a PH (David Sutherland Hunting Academy) and would like offer my services to outfitters as back-up PH on dangerous 6 animals. I would prefer it to be in KZN, but I am willing to travel. It would be much appreciated if I may tag along in order to fill the minimum required hunts. I have a fully rigged vehicle available.

Regards
Boela

Boela,

as Back-up PH is not going to happen if you don't have at least experience in 2-3 of the dangerous 6...I don't say it may be possible, but it might take a long, long time...perhaps 'rearing' you as appy for a while by a reputable outfitter..., then the show will start from there on! Good luck in your quest!

Thank you Bushwack!

I have hunted Lion, Buffalo and Rhino in the past with Lew Harris when I was still a University student, but as you know he sadly passed away a few years ago. I currently only have a few pictures of proof that I was in attendance of these hunts, so unfortunately I can not fill my log and need to start from scratch. Thank you for your time to reply, and your advice, it is much appreciated.

Regards
Boela,

Good luck sir.

Good luck with this vital phase that you need to complete.
VERY disheartening when you complete a course and then battle to get "field experience" due to some circumstances beyond your control... I would suggest that you get the "appy - ship" done and dusted with an agreeable outfitter and get your hours/ days signed off.

Congratulations! Jealous of your chosen occupation and good luck getting your experience with the dangerous 6.

Good luck! I am sure you will connect with a great outfit. You are at the right place to start your search.

Also, pardon my ignorance..... However, I did not know that KZN was home to a lot of the Dangerous 6. Is that a good area for them (population wise)?

Just wanted to say thanks for the excellent customer service. Ordered some 9.3x62 brass and the delivery was a little short. An email through your website Contact Us link was replied to the next day with the tracking info for the correction. Good pricing coupled with great customer service will see returning customers every time. Thanks again!
