are having a 20% off sale again. While they are known for their quality shirts, of which I have a few, they also have other stuff.
Below is myself in their estate jacket at NYC a few months ago. Kept me warm and cozy.

My gripe with coats like this - Barbour are the same - is that they don't cover (what Forrest Gump called) the boo-tocks.

We used to call coats like this 'bum freezers' at school.

In the rain, the coat drips from the hem straight onto your bum or legs. QED, the ideal coat should come down to mid or half thigh, and be cinched by a belt at the waist.

Anyway, you look good in it!

I prefer something a little longer myself..

It looks like Avedon and Colby offer something you might like though.. similar design and cut to the coat @Tanks is wearing, but longer.. more like the old Artkis Smock that the Brit army used to issue (they may still issue it?)..

Really reasonably priced too... knowing tanks demands quality, I am sure they make an excellent jacket.. and if the smock length coat can be had for $249, thats a pretty serious bargain...

@roverandbrew turned me onto the Artkis version last year.. theyre roughly the same price (I think $200?).. Ive been super happy with it.. rugged and durable as hell... reasonably thin and comfortable to move around in... and way more than enough to fend off the absolute coldest winter day that north texas can provide.. It became my go-to jacket for deer season last year.. and ultimately became my go-to jacket for pretty much any cold day after that...

I actually have that particular jacket as well. It is my go to jacket for African and international travel when weather is milder.

You might have edited your post on the PH in the Bubye. I know the PH and is a wonderful person and a fmaily man and runs a succesful business in Zim and just doesn't want the attention that the internet offers, the ugly kind.

Hello,

Am I reading your post correctly to say that the Tsavo rifle will be coming out with a composite stock later this year? I ask because I had been looking very hard for a Tsavo, but if there is going to be a composite stock model I will wait for that.

Thank you for your time,

Andrew

Saw your post. Nice. Denver too. Genesee area (just off 70) if ever up this way. Alternatively, do you have a membership at GGC? Whatever, you'll have a wonderful time in Africa. Enjoy.
