@Mekaniks ....Thank you soo much to give us the chance to assist you in your hunt in South America, Argentina.

It was our pleasure to have the chance to have been hunting with you today.....

We hope you really have enjoyed the hunt and congrats for the two great authentic free range trophies We were able to get in this great hunting day........

Rocket.

Well done

Chuuuuckk!!!

What a black buck! He just keeps twisting. Congrats and well earned.

I wish I could have joined. Have a great rest of your trip and tell the girls hello from my family.

I have lots more pics that are going going to have to wait until I get home to upload….

The blackbuck and axis hunting does not get any more free range than this!
We hunted cattle ranchs, alfalfa and corn fields and grazing pasture that is entirely free range. All just cattle fences that the black buck and axis go right through, under or over and there is amazing numbers of animals.
MG Hinting is a class outfit and Manuel, Augustine, and Rocket have been great to deal with. I would hunt with @ROCKET anywhere, anytime ….

We spent yesterday morning on a private city tour. Amazing history and culture.
The ladies have started to get the layout Buenos Aires sorted.
Then we spent the afternoon at the local Sunday market (only open on Sundays).
The ladies purchased gifts and souvenirs and I purchased a knife from a local knife maker for $7 US….
We had an amazing dinner uptown with appetizers, 3 big entrees , 2 desserts, 3 bottles of water, and 1 bottle of Malbec wine and the bill was $85 US….. :D Beers:

Today we took a private tour to the small old town of San Antonio de Oreco. Amazing history and landmarks dating back to the colonialism of Argentina and their revolution. We visited a silversmith shop, generational artists workshop, chocolate factory (La Obra de Cobre) and monuments. They fashioned stirrups with the British Crown upside down made of silver to stand on in defiance of the crown during the revolution. Awesome stuff!

Then we traveled to a working horse and cattle ranch (el Ombu). We rode horses, and yup I have not been on a horse in about 35 years… (Alaska guy…But once a cowboy):ROFLMAO:…. Wife and Sara did awesome…..
Then we had a fantastic lunch with all the traditional meats, breads, vegetables and desserts along with a couple bottles of Malbec…..:D Beers:
After lunch the Gaucho (cowboys) preformed traditional songs and a beautiful Argentine Samba dance. They even got Lydia and Sara involved.
Then they preformed an amazing showcase of the trust between horse and rider. It was really a great show.
I also have a ton of pics videos but I am having trouble loading them with my laptop so they are going to have to wait until get home….
Cheers!

I love it. We are hoping to go back next year.

Yesterday we moved out of our BnB in Paloma district (old residential area) and moved into the Intersur Recolleta Hotel in the Recoletta District (uptown swanky).

We visited a Mausoleum where Presidents and elite have been interned for hundreds of years.

Then we went shopping and walked and drank our way across Recollta District and finished with a big dinner at Estilo Campo Steak House in the Porto Madero District recommended by @mdwest It was great!

Yesterday took a boat tour around the Tigre Delta today.
I was surprised at the number of nice homes and communities on the islands in the Delta only accessible boat. The delta is huge and we only saw one small part of it. I think I heard there are 2500 islands in the delta….

Then pizza for dinner. Argentina has a huge Italian population and with that comes amazing pizza…..

Today we are headed to Peru and Machu Picchu.
We made friends with our tour host that took us to San Antonia De Areco the other day and he graciously offered to pick us up at the hotel at 0400 this morning and deliver us to EZE. Service far above and beyond!
His name is Jose and a semi retired gentleman who was born and raised in Buenos Aires. He has a very nice and new sedan car and knows everyone (y) I have no problem recommending him as a private guide.
If anyone is interested in using his service send me a PM and I will forward his WhatsApp #.

We smoked right through baggage checkin, security, and passport control this morning with almost no lines at all….

Buenos Aries, MG Safaris and all the tour operators and guides have been great.
The ladies spent a lot of time walking the city and never once did they feel unsafe or uncomfortable.
MG is a first class outfit and I can’t wait to get back to experience more of their hunting operations and see more of Argentina.

I promise pics and videos when I get home. I did not bring my laptop and I am having trouble editing with my cellphone….

Sounds good!

Hello! I saw your post from last year about a missing crate from your hunt in Moz. I am curious how that all turned out? We (my fiancé and I) also hunted in Moz in 2024 and the trophies are being shipped with Hunters Services Limitada. We have some concerns on whether we will get the trophies home or not. May I ask who you hunted with?
