Any Black Professional Hunters I Should Know Of?

Any Black Professional Hunters I should know of? So with the numerous accusations of trophy hunting being synonymous with colonial racism (which is very hard to ignore), I was wondering if any native Africans were able to break into the industry and become PH's on par with Capstick and Carter? This is mostly for personal knowledge as I would like more insight into the history of safari.

Is easy to dismiss - how the heck is spending money because a country knows how to manage it's wildlife colonialism? But, look at the opposite: the folks in North America and UK (primarily) seem to believe that the people of several African countries are incompetent, corrupt or too ignorant to manage their wildlife resources. What makes North Americans and British persons believe they are innately more capable? Hmmmm, now what does that sound like?

Not historical.....but there is a man named Nixon I think that seems to be a very good PH. I thinks he guides mostly in Zimbabwe. He is the man who guided the hunter a couple of years ago that got the elephant with 120 pound tusks.

Find a copy and read SAFARI..A Chronicle of Adventure by Bartle Bull, copyright 1988. I read it around 1990/91. This is the history of the safari!

Well now ain't that the million dollar question. My family have been in Zambia 5 generations, my great grandfather first came out here (one of those so called racist colonialists), and I'm still not black!

I know some black /coloured PH's with best reputation's.
And I ve hunted with a few of them .
Always again.
Im very carefully with "famous" PH's .
Most they are famous ,because they are guiding the "upper ten-thousand",have the prices of the rich and beauties,telling the stories how important people they know, how much tip and presents they got ,how much honour it is to hunt with him (the famous PH) and when you are not a member of that club,reality is often an other thing

But-with a white hunter there, you are hunting in Africa-with a black PH you are inside Africa.

well she is the first female in zambia to get her full ph licence......
