Anti-Hunter Attack

There should have been and be a Forrest officer unit in Europe as the hunters use little legal protection against ara . Some Ara groups look upon themselves as « police or wardens « and not as the Adolph worshippers they are .

I wonder if this group is connected to Britain as the reach is far and borders close . And question is who stalked him in the time before this , maybe a AirTag on his car could be placed there .

I think that hunting weapons should be bought completely freely, with the seller making the papers to whom he sold them. It would be desirable if he could check the customer's record, whether he has a mental illness or has been convicted of criminal acts. Also, carrying weapons should not be allowed for everyone. I think then the crime rate would decrease. Criminals all carry weapons and ask no one.
You think that carrying weapons should not be allowed for all, but then admit that the criminals don't pay any attention to the law? I think that.lost something in the translation.

Dear Dug,nothing was lost in translation. As a man who firmly advocates for respect for law and justice, as well as democratic principles, I believe that everyone should have the right to self-defense. Not only self-defense, but also to defend the weaker, but fairer. I did not put weapons in the context of force that will harm others, but as a means to uphold justice and the law in a situation when people without morality and respect start doing their own thing. You probably did not interpret my previous message correctly, I clearly wrote that the seller should have access to the buyer's personal documents that will represent his true identity. Anyone who is or has been involved in crime, or misuses weapons in any way, should not have the right to buy. That's what I wanted to say in my previous message, and I'm saying it now

My experiences hunting in Belgium, is that it is not that much more anti-hunting than most of its neighbours. It is just a tiny country, very built-up and therefore with much more limited hunting opportunities, making the hunting community smaller than in most neighbouring countries.

This awful attack could probably have happened anywhere in the EU. Although self defence rights, being very weak here, probably makes it more attractive for criminals to try something. They will likely get away with it.

As @DieJager has experienced, I too have been the focus of aggression during small game hunts, where we basically cannot react. Just put the guns away and call it a day. Despite the colourful language thrown at my fellow hunters and myself. The threats issued towards my direct family stung particularly, but we can only remain deaf and call the police.

At other times, seeing your high seat destroyed for the third time in a season, especially when discovering this only after you drove 3hrs away from home is quite frustrating.

Luckily the hunting fraternity, although small, is quite enjoyable. And every person I can enlighten on sustainable hunting and conservation usually takes the time to listen.

I hope he will get better soon, and will be back out soon (May roe buck season is approaching) As a member of the organisation he presides, I believe the anti-hunting messages will only get less support from the public.

I think we're in agreement. The point I was making though is that, at least in the US, is that it is illegal for any felon or mentally deficient individual to buy, possess or even be in the same room with a firearm. Yet they always seem to have them. Criminals, by definition, do not obey the law. They get guns, often stolen guns, through illegal means. Europe often works the same way. I met a German guy some years ago that had bought a gun for his father while the son was here visiting. He told me that buying a firearm legally in Germany was very difficult but, "you can buy one on almost any street corner." I didn't ask him how he was going to get the new gun home and through customs, etc. In Germany. Now, as an alien, he wouldn't be able to buy a gun here, but it was legal at the time.

I think the USA is an example of the right attitude towards weapons. When I was asked as a little boy where I would like to live, I would say the USA. If they asked me why, I would say because I can buy weapons whenever I want without anyone's approval :)

Good morning,
Did you hunt w Leeuwkop at their ranch or in Zimbabwe? The ranch looks awesome, but I'll be in Zimbabwe for buffalo and whatever else we dig up.
What did you hunt for?
Vaccines?
What rifle did you use?
I feel like I need a good cotton safari shirt and an ammo belt to make the hunt feel right!
How often did you shoot prior to going?
Did you use sticks for shooting practice?
