Qatar Air and Airlink are now interline agreements so flying into Joberg on Qatar and flying Airlink to Windhoek will your firearm be transferred to the Airlink flight without you taking physical possession or will you have to clear thru SAPS , even though you are only passing thru SA. Anyone have any experience with this recently....planning a July flight.

Leave April 24th. I was told by Lori @TRAVEL EXPRESS to plan on dealing with SA gun permit even for transit through to Windhoek

Are you flying Qatar and interlining with Airlink, baggage transfer thru to Windhoek. Thanks for any info after your hunt and good luck. If you have not been to Namibia it is great lots of game....who are you booked with?

Yes Qatar to airlink. It’s up in the air if we need to grab luggage in joburg. Having Henry at @riflepermits.com is handling all of that well worth the small fee! Don’t forget about baggage fees for airlink as the limit is much less than qatar. No haven’t been to Namibia yet.... Have two prior trips to Limpopo SA. Zambia 2023 unless the usa falls apart again by then. So just getting into the African bug!! Booked with Justus Britts of Afrihunt. Good luck!!

On a trip booked with a single ticketing action on 2 airlines which have an interlinking agreement, the baggage restrictions on the flight with the prmary (longer) trip apply to the entire trip. Another good reason to use a good travel agent.

Henry is great. Let us know what he says. My guess is that you have to go get your guns at SAPs. Make sure if that’s the case that you have at least three hours between flights to go get guns and then get back through passport control.

You might have edited your post on the PH in the Bubye. I know the PH and is a wonderful person and a fmaily man and runs a succesful business in Zim and just doesn't want the attention that the internet offers, the ugly kind.

Hello,

Am I reading your post correctly to say that the Tsavo rifle will be coming out with a composite stock later this year? I ask because I had been looking very hard for a Tsavo, but if there is going to be a composite stock model I will wait for that.

Thank you for your time,

Andrew

Saw your post. Nice. Denver too. Genesee area (just off 70) if ever up this way. Alternatively, do you have a membership at GGC? Whatever, you'll have a wonderful time in Africa. Enjoy.
