Unfortunately, it's the same in Europe. America isn't free of it either, just more subtle. I would argue that you show me a government, and I'll show you corruption.
That's not true.Unfortunately, it's the same in Europe. America isn't free of it either, just more subtle. I would argue that you show me a government, and I'll show you corruption.
I didn't imply they were on the same level of corruption, but there is corruption within any government. It isn't a matter of saying who is corrupt, but who is NOT corrupt. And no government is. Denmark scored low, but not perfect. That's not true.
the most incompetent countries are those at the end of the corruption index(CPI).
Denmark f.e. and many other countries are in a very different position to Somalia and the like.
I saw an embassy notice warning travelers about that.I would say something but with our new cyber laws will keep mouth shut..
Yup....also a follow up from government here saying it was not what embassy said......in news here people been charged already....I saw an embassy notice warning travelers about that.
Relooking at my original post, I should have worded it differently. The OP stated that theft in Zambia is why the U.S. was removing aide. Perhaps that is true. I agree that most (certainly not where I am) of Europe looks great comparatively with the rest of the world. The U.S. looks pretty good too. However, before we pat ourselves on the back, we are far from perfect ourselves and should look to remove our own problems before we point the finger at other nations. Disclaimer: this in no way is an argument that we should continue providing millions of dollars to any country. In this chart, most of Europe looks good, not so much African countries.
THIS! ^as long as man rules, corruption lives, because man is fallible.
the just past U.S admin... oohh sweet lord. some serious and unrepairable damages has been done.Unfortunately, it's the same in Europe. America isn't free of it either, just more subtle. I would argue that you show me a government, and I'll show you corruption.
