AH Dinners for both DSC & SCI 2026

Nashville airplanes and hotel are booked!! :D Beers:

My wife and I will be at SCI. Looking forward to meeting all of you at the dinner.

We are flying in from DFW, so, in an effort to avoid 3 extra checked bags of options to cover: "Well, I don't know what the weather will be, I'm not sure what mood I will be in", and of course, "What will the other wives be wearing?". What will the other wives be wearing? Please include shoes in your answers.

I feel you pain. I often hear "I need choices", which my typical response is "Make them before you pack"

Darn good question @Franco !
This photo is my charming "chocalate" wife and me flaked by large @DE KLERK SAFARIS guys.
One the show floor I think a lady wearing her most comportable shoes is best.
For the AH dinner, more dressed up for the ladies. Most women like to do that.

There was a recent DSC or SCI dinner themed "Diamonds and Demim".
Also, remember passing some ladies on the showroom floor that I would classify as "eye candy"...

This will ping our SCI guru @Philip Glass who should be able to provide some intell from a male point of view.
@Just Gina
might be a better source being a lady.

Tina and I will be smart casual, with AH hats of course. Being the middle of winter, most of us wore flannel or fleece shirts except for @franzfmdavis, @Tom Leoni and a few others who were exceptionally well dressed.

I think we should all aspire to wear tweed!?

You guys are too funny!!! You know Franz will come dressed like a proper well dressed Englishman just one more reason in addition to his great passion for all things Rigby that he fits the brand so well!!! I respect and applaud him!!!

You will see everything at SCI. During the day it is mostly casual in the show floor. You will see guys in their Hunting boots or western boots, but many in the most comfortable shoes they own! (Me!) You will see everything from camo to jackets for guys and the ladies will vary but tend toward dressy casual (if that's a thing?). Evenings in Nashville depend on the event. I'll have a tux for the Beretta gala on Tuesday night but then just whatever on Broadway.
My advice would be to dress nicely and know you won't be over dressed at SCI.

The only thing I will add to my good friend @Philip Glass is please don’t wear a tux to our AH dinner lol!!! Come casual knowing you still will see some of my friends like @franzfmdavis dressed like a very proper Rigby hunter dressed in tweed

Convention passes booked!:A Gathering:

Me and my wife will be attending the Nashville Dinner.
Looking forward to putting names and faces together.

I’m in, and believe my non-hunting better half will be along as well. Hoping some of the hunting ladies can infect her with the hunting bug. My daughter has tried unsuccessfully so far. Same time, when I take the daughter hunting it costs so much more, maybe better if she lets me kill what we eat.

thanks for your reply bob , is it feasible to build a 444 on a P14/M17 , or is the no4 enfield easier to build? i know where i can buy a lothar walther barrel in 44, 1-38 twist , but i think with a barrel crown of .650" the profile is too light .
