This may get moved to another forum, but here goes. It is absolutely true!

Africa captured me in 1997 on my first safari and I’ve never looked back. This year will include my 16-18th safaris!

So very true! My first African hunt was in Namibia 1987 - then part of SA, still having the
Apartheit System. I was invited for a 7-day hunt on a 15.000 ha Farm - that was the costliest invitation I ever had, as the African bug bit me heavily; the next about 25 hunts I had to pay for by myself....

One of the big dreams I have on occasion is to visit Africa. I don't have the resources for it, but reading you guys and generally visiting sites on the net let me know a lot about there.

Having all those animals at your disposal must be fantastic, with those great backgrounds that nature provides.

That's pretty cool. It is strange how Africa pulls people to it, I remember trying to build a raft to sail there when I was a kid lol
Finally going in July. Thanks for sharing!

I hope you are flying :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

It’s never too late to get to Africa or return to Africa!

My first visit was in 1997 on the Kenya/Tanazania border helping to build a church and school for the Maasai. I finally returned last year (2021) to RSA for a hunt.

2 more safaris in 2023 and 2024 on the Dark Continent already under contract. Can’t wait.

All the best, TheGrayRider.

What sling studs do those swivels fit ? They look to be quite a bit wider than the standard modern swivels. They may be just what I need for my Remington 30 Express wide swivel studs. Can you measure the pin diameter ?
