Here is a sneak peak into what I'm working on now. I'll keep everyone posted on progress. Full body Aoudad that will be standing on rocks. Base is custom. I've got a whole lot of work to do but the form extension is finished and horns and eyes are installed.

Looking forward to the pics!

I don't claim to be an expert on Barbary Sheep / Aoudad, but that extension makes that body look out of proportion, way too long to my thinking. Curious why you extended it that much, are you working with actual measurements? or some other reason?

Can't wait to see how it turns out!

Look forward to the finished product.

Thats the largest Aoudad form they make and it was 14" too short for the cape measurement. Some of that can be attributed to the hide relaxing during the tanning process but as it is that is the measurements of the actual animal. The remainder i will have to make up during the mounting process. This was by far the biggest bodied Aoudad I have ever seen. Also keep in mind that he is stretched out walking up hill giving an illusion of being longer than it really is. As the form sits it measures as it did off the animal. Originally I had extended it more to try and help with the cape stretch and you are right it was way out of proportion so I went back to the original measurements.

There is still a lot of form work to be done. I still have to build up girth in certain areas and a ton of clay work to be done. Also his feet are not on so he is several inches shorter than what he will be put together.

Also his feet are not on

Whew.... Glad you noticed...

I didn't want to mention and embarrass you if you didn't know.

Lol. Your an ass royal. I mentioned it for proportion :p

Sorry Erik,

I'd already thought about it when I saw the pic then you mention the feet and I simply couldn't resist. :K Moon:

Thanks, I have one Aoudad hunt still open for this year if your interested.

I prefer my Audad without their shoes, way more relaxed looking!

Seems like when they got heels on they always trip and end up with their heads stuck in the fence!

Well.... I know you will do your best to build up his girth.... [emoji23]

Just fuggin' with you!

I'm actually looking very forward to busting one of them & letting you mount it..... yes.... pervert... mount it! lol

Been working on this since 8 this morning. Still have 2 1/2 ft left to sew and arrange skin but getting there. Here is a few steps toward the end result. I'll keep posting progress.

Hello! I saw your post from last year about a missing crate from your hunt in Moz. I am curious how that all turned out? We (my fiancé and I) also hunted in Moz in 2024 and the trophies are being shipped with Hunters Services Limitada. We have some concerns on whether we will get the trophies home or not. May I ask who you hunted with?
