My cz550 9.3x62.
Good story how I came about this rifle.
A gun show was in town close to my parents home. I went down for the weekend and my father and I went to the gun show Saturday afternoon and I seen this rifle on a table and was very interested in it. After my father and I return my mother hands me a $1000 for my wedding the fallowing month. So here im 5 miles away from a beautiful rifle with a $1000 more then I had when I was at the show.
When I left for home I made a quick stop back at the gun show and bought the rifle not telling no one besides my dad. I looked at it as a wedding gift to myself.

Wow, absolutely stunning, love the caliber and the rifle! Congrtatulations.I Joined the 9.3x62 family two days ago with the arrival of this

I would say anything up to a standard pressure of 65,000PSI is fine. That is the SAAMI standard for .270 Win. .338/06 and 6MM Rem. All those are tapered cases. The straighter the case, the less back or in other words, bolt pressure. Now, would a custom loader do that - maybe not. As with Ackley and Arch, case life is the final test on safe, usable loads. My 9.3x62 brass from the 1980's were converted to .375/06 IMP. and that was after running 285gr. Speers to 2,519fps and 270gr. Speer to 2,675fps. That Speer would be a bomb at those speeds. I also used that brass for 30 years, maybe 15 loads each one. It also is part of the brass supply for my new .375/06IMP. I've only had that one for 20 years. Can any of the "custom" reloaders load a 60,000+ psi load, I dont have time right now to take up hand loading. My rifle is a ruger alaskan, obviously those pressures would be safe?
