9,3x62 with Barnes TSX 285 grs for buffalo

Shame you can't get your hands on some Hammer bullets. I was over 2500 fps with their 258 gr with a COAL of 84.3 mm, and I'm reasonably certain I could have gotten to 2600 fps.

What powder are you using with your Hammers? I've been shooting Hammer Hunters out of my 300WM and have been passed with the performance. I have a 9.3 barrel getting installed on an action and have been eyeing those 258s for when it gets finished...

I haven't done a SxS with Big Game for this bullet, but I did for several 286 gr. As far as I can tell, they are so close to each other that they might as well be the same powder.

Start low, do a 10 or 15 shot ladder in 0.5 gr increments until you see pressure signs, then back off a grain
