I bought this amazing rifle a couple of months back for hunting African plains Game, thinking it would also be very handy in the event that I ever went back to the mountains or Alaska chasing elk ,bear, moose or maybe even wanted to shoot a bunch of hogs again down in Texas. I had been unsuccessfully been searching for a replacement for the .375 H&H I had stupidly sold some years back when I ran across this beauty! My PH friends in Zimbabwe LOVE this caliber (which is still legal for Bufffalo in Zimbabwe, although a bit on the light side in my opinion). But they have grown up shooting the 9.3x62 as a "do it all" kind of gun as their ancestors had done since the Germans and Dutch settled Southern Africa. I happily bought it New and was very impressed as with the feel and the way it handled and shot (I put just 12 rounds through the barrel). Then...within two weeks I happened across the exact .375 I had been looking for and quickly bought it.
It's highly unlikely that the hunting I do here in North America will ever require anything more than my .300 Win. Sadly, owing to that fact, I doubt that I'm destined to put this super handy 9.3x62 to its proper use.
So, with only 12 rounds down the barrel, and a brand new set of Redding Dies, Norma brass and a new set of Talley 30mm rings I'm offering this package for
$2200 shipped CONUS. It will ship in it's factory box including the remaining 38 Privi Partizan bullets and the new Redding dies. I also have a large quantity of 286g Swift A-Frame factory pulls ( I can't tell much of a difference from new) as well as 3 boxes of North Fork solids, which can be purchased separately.
Features;
3-position "smooth roll" safety
22" Barrel
High visibility Sights
"Soft Touch" coated synthetic stock
Weighs 6.75 lbs.
Detachable magazine
Crisp, 2lb "direct" trigger
