I have a couple of packets of Norma Oryx im trying in my 9,3x62 how good are these projectiles on game i have read and seen pictures of there performance and they look great how are they on buffalo lion leopard
There is a 232 gr Norma Oryx @ 2625 f/s-not a good idea for African game.
Then there is a 285 gr Norma Oryx @ 2362 f/s-that is a very good idea for African game.
The there is a 325 gr Norma Oryx @ 2198 f/s-that is a excellent choice for Cape buffalo.
I would use the 285 gr loading for all plains game and lion and the 325 gr on Cape Buffalo.
Just make sure that wherever you intend hunting buffalo with it that it meets the minimum calibre requirement.
The 9.3 x 62 and 9.3 x 74R are excellent African calibres and do their best work with heavy for calibre bullets with high sectional density at moderate velocities.
I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
